LocusInControl does not collect, transmit, sell, or share any user data. There is no backend server and no analytics service connected to this extension.
All data — your focus session history, goals, BHAGs, streaks, blocklist customizations, and settings — is stored locally on your device using Chrome's built-in chrome.storage.local API. This data:
LocusInControl requests browser permissions solely to operate its core features (timer, notifications, and site blocking during focus sessions). None of these permissions are used to collect or transmit data. A full breakdown of each permission is available in the extension's Chrome Web Store listing.
This extension does not use any third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking services. No network requests are made to external servers.
If this extension ever adds a feature that changes this policy (for example, optional cloud sync in a future version), this page will be updated first and the change will be clearly disclosed in the extension's release notes.
Questions about this policy can be directed to the developer via the Chrome Web Store listing's support contact.
